The Internet Animal Management System ("IAMS") is a web application that enables rescue groups to focus their efforts on the animals, not on the adminstration of their website, the recording of information about the animals in foster care, or the adoption process. It comes with a default website that is completely customizable.

Requirements: An internet domain and a hosting account on the standard Open Source "LAMP" platform, which consists of the Linux (or other Unix variant) operating system, the Apache web server, the MySQL database, and the PHP scripting language). The capability of scheduling "cron" jobs on the web server is important for maintenance tasks, but not critical to the normal operation of the software.
